Media Feedback

There's little point in describing each song that Nick Grey has brought before us on this exceptional album. Suffice to say, nothing is out of place and nothing stands out except ALL of it, yet it is neither an album of songs nor an album of purely experimental works, the record standing shamanically and entirely successfully at the doorway between both genres (...) This album is one of the most truly ambient records Ive heard in many a year, and rotating it endlessly can send the listener close to catatonia and nudging sleep.
- Julian Cope

"Thieves Among Thorns" is one of the best albums I have heard in years - one of my favorite albums Dark Holler Hand/Eye has ever released (though, to be fair, I am rather biased to them all). Still, I find this work enchanting and haunting in all the right ways. My highest recommendation.
- Timothy Renner (Stone Breath)

Qui n'a pas entendu une fois dans sa vie le The World Mountain clôturant cet album n'a rien entendu. (...) Magistral.
- A Découvrir Absolument (Gérald De Oliveira)

(...) Cet album onirique se fait un malin plaisir daccompagner, avec une délicatesse insistante, chaque instant dabandon.
- Les Inrockuptibles

An eccentric and highly literate fantasy.

- The Wire
